Teaching people about art tricks and techniques is something I've always enjoyed. As a result I'm often amazed by the way students take their mentors influence and use it in their own way. Here's a few artworks that were fun to be a part of :
Here's Bubsy under construction. He's a little baby rhino, not quite to scale but he's still pretty big. I've been experimenting with a base of 4 cylinders for legs and building plates over the top to form the body. Each successive sculpture is getting bigger and I think as I master the technique I could possibly make a piece that would be the size of the kiln! We'll see.
